A good quality antique Georgian mahogany tilt-top wine table dating from circa 1800.
The table has a solid mahogany top with a distinctive pie crust edge, a particularly attractive feature of this traditional form. The top is supported on a turned central pedestal and raised on four shaped cabriole legs.
With its compact proportions and elegant Georgian design, this is a versatile occasional table that would work equally well beside a chair, sofa or as a small side table within a traditional interior.
The table is in very good original condition and has been traditionally and sympathetically cleaned and waxed to maintain its original colour and patina.
